About Our Team
We are The RoboTigers, FRC Team 1796 from Long Island City New York. We're made up of 30 students (Grades 9-12) and 8 mentors. Our mentors consist of our Alumni as well as faculty mentors from the school.
About Our School
Our team is based in Long Island City, NY at Queens Technical High School, where students graduate with a CTE (Career & Technology Education) Endorsed High School diploma.
About FIRST
For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology (FIRST) is an international youth organization that operates the FIRST Robotics Competition, FIRST LEGO League Challenge, FIRST LEGO League and FIRST Tech Challenge competitions.
